Children’s joy, curiosity and happiness are a big part of their learning. At Star Light Learning Academy, we encourage them to have fun as a part of their education, with child-led activities adapted to their abilities and interests.
We combine the Creative Curriculum and the Montessori approach in our childcare. Both approaches focus on children’s natural curiosity and competency. Our team encourages children to follow their own unique interests so they can explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
We focus on developing the child’s whole self and allow them to lead their own development.

Creative Curriculum
The Creative Curriculum is research-based and has been carefully designed to support the development of the whole child. The aim is to grow their social and emotional skills alongside their academic understanding and promote their confidence both within and outside of a learning setting. Children learn in the context of everyday play, giving them the skills to apply the same learning to everyday experiences later in life.
Montessori Method
The Montessori method is an educational approach that emphasizes self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. This approach recognizes that children have unique learning styles and abilities and that they learn best through hands-on experiences. Our nursery will incorporate this approach by providing a range of materials and activities that allow children to explore, discover and learn at their own pace. Children will also be encouraged to develop their independence and decision-making skills through carefully designed activities and projects.
Animal-Friendly Environment
At our childcare center, we believe that children should have the opportunity to learn about and interact with animals safely and responsibly. Our animal-friendly environment will provide children with the opportunity to learn about different types of animals and their habitats, as well as develop their empathy and respect for all living things. Children will have the opportunity to observe and interact with a range of animals, including fish, birds, and small mammals. We aim to create a nurturing and respectful environment where children can learn about the importance of animal welfare and conservation.
